Morals, Ethics, and Law

INTENTION FOR TOMORROW
Pause, look up to the sun and let your face catch it, close your eyes and take a deep breath and smile. Not only will you get extra Vitamin D, but it will remind you to enjoy it now before the time changes! Just make sure you have your sunscreen on!


MEDOCCS SLOGAN & SWEATSHIRTS
Hi All - 
I am on the hunt for a slogan or a tag line for our class. I am also looking at getting class sweatshirts.  Do you like to design submit all ideas and thoughts to me (Ms. Buck) by Friday!

DAILY BLOG THOUGHTS
Google Terry Schiavo and read about her story.  Write down two things you agree with and two things you disagree with from the case.  Then define these terms - durable power of attorney, DNR, advance health care directive. Type or write it up and bring it to class tomorrow to be stamped and discussed.

3.  Career Counseling Appointment - Due Friday, 9/26 - make sure you have an apt. today!

    • GETSET is an extracurricular program for female students who are interested in STEM. GetSet encourages female students to maintain and explore their interests in STEM related courses and careers through hands-on workshops, field trips and networking events with professional women in STEM careers.
    • If you are interested in joining GETSET give your name to Ms. Buckley and she will submit you as one of her applicants!

  • They will have a sort day  this coming Sunday, Sept 28 starting at 10 am.  At their storage office, 1838 Catalina Ct. They will be sorting and bagging Christmas that day.
  •   Also they need to know asap if anyone is available to help with a sales booth on Saturday,     October 4 from  10 – 4 at the Elks Lodge in Livermore. They will have their collector bears and dolls for sale.
  • Mark your calendars for Friday, Dec 5. We’ll be hosting the refreshments at Deacon Dave’s opening night ceremonies again. Which sounds like super fun to me! :)
